Portable Fire Extinguisher, Soda Acid type the Charge is forced out by means of Chemical Reaction between Acid and Alkaline Chemical, and is suitable for fighting Class “A” Fires.

PRINCIPAL
The extinguisher shall be of either Inverted type or Upright type, Inverted type operation is regularly used and is most preferable.

Inverted Type
Invert the extinguisher, breaking  the acid bottle then by allowing the alkaline solution to react with the  acid  and  force  discharge.

Upright Type
Keep extinguisher upright, breaking the acid bottle then by allowing the  alkaline solution to react with the acid and force discharge.

CONSTRUCTION
It is a cylindrical type duly welded and fitted with cap along with discharge nozzle, duly painted Fire Red. Strictly Conforming  to 
IS : 934 - 1989.

CAPACITY
Available in 9 Litres Capacity.

OPERATION
Take extinguisher to the scene of Fire, Remove Plunger Guard, invert extinguisher upside down, strike knob on hard surface. Direct jet at the base  of  fire.

APPLICATION
Suitable for CLASS “A” FIRES : Fire involving solid combustible materials of organic nature such as wood, paper, rubber, plastics, etc. where the cooling effect of water is  essential for extinguishing fires.

LOCATION
Good for Theatres, Restaurants, Offices, Residences, Godowns, Factories, Hospitals, Warehouses, Lodging Houses, Buildings, Hotels, School, Collages, etc.

PERFORMANCE
The Extinguisher designed is capable for 95% Discharge of its contents with jet throw of six meters for minimum period of 60 seconds andmaximum period of 120 seconds when operated under normal temperature conditions of + 27 C with a stream starting in horizontal direction in wind - free condition.

MAINTENANCE
Refilling is only required when used or once in every two years /IS-2190-92.
